Poole named in top 30 most marginal seat in election

Poole has been named in the top 30 most marginal seat in the General Election according to YouGov.

A brand new poll out today by YouGov and Sky News has listed Poole as one of the top 30 most marginal seats in the country. The poll shows the Conservatives on 35% of the vote and Labour just one point behind on 34%.

Neil Duncan-Jordan, Labour’s candidate in Poole said: “I’m not surprised by the poll because it reinforces what we’re finding on the doorstep. The Conservatives are losing support from their traditional base and if you want to see a change, then it has to be Labour. A vote for any other party is really a vote for the Conservatives. I’m hoping people will see the power of voting tactically.”
